iXBRL Filing in Five Easy Steps

How do you get your financial statements prepared for iXBRL filing?

1. Set up an account with www.datatracks.ie	–+
Set up a user account with DataTracks accessible by a password set by you. You need just one user account even if you are a tax advisor covering several filing entities or a holding company covering several subsidiaries.
2. Set up as many companies or filing entities as you want	–+
Set up one or more companies (or filing entities) for which you want iXBRL documents to be prepared. You can add more companies (or filing entities) later.You can deactivate a company (or filing entity) any time.You can reactivate too.
3. Upload input documents for each company (or filing entity)	–+
Choose the company (or filing entity) for which you want iXBRL documents to be prepared. Choose the output documents you want. Indicate how you will provide your inputs. You can provide the inputs as fully prepared financial statements. You can provide the inputs in any form: Spreadsheets, Word processor documents or PDF documents. Indicate the sales page band size of the company (or filing entity). Our price depends on this. Upload the inputs against each company (or filing entity) for each financial year. Review your upload/update for accuracy and commit the upload/update into our database. The files/data you provide are kept in a secure storage in the UK.
4. Choose your turnaround time/price, pay and get a job ticket	–+
DataTracks would provide you the price payable for various turnaround times. (Some turnaround deadlines may not be offered if we are fully booked; especially during peak months. It is advantageous for you to provide your inputs ahead of your deadline and provide us maximum turnaround time for low prices). Choose the deadline you prefer. (If the offered turnaround times are not acceptable to you, you can abort at this stage). The price payable for the service you require, for the page band size indicated and for the turnaround time you have desired would be indicated. Pay by credit card or debit card.We support several popular payment mechanisms such as Paypal. You will be charged extra for VAT. We will notify you of successful receipt of funds and allocate a ticket reference to track the progress of your work all the time the work is under execution. We will notify you by email when your work is completed and the output is ready for you to download.
5. Download your iXBRL document for filing with the Revenue.	–+
Log in to your account. Download the iXBRL instance document. File with the Revenue. Your iXBRL instance document will be available for download for a maximum of three years from the date of creation. If you need clarifications or changes, log in to leave a message for us. We will contact you to provide the inputs you require and where necessary modify the output based on your requirements or your tax advisor's requirements.
